Suicide remains one of the most difficult conversations to have, yet one of the most necessary. In 2025, Eta Alpha Pi Sorority, Incorporated® has committed to changing the narrative on suicide, shifting the conversation from silence and stigma to awareness, support, and hope.
The Campaign Launch
We began our campaign with a simple yet powerful social media post, sparking engagement across our national platforms. Soon after, our Sorors stood boldly and beautifully, each plated in a custom suicide awareness frame, brought together in a heartfelt collage. This visual reminder showed unity, compassion, and the shared determination of Eta Pi women to shine light where darkness often lingers.

Building the Conversation
But our work doesn’t end with one post or one collage. The Eta Pis are committed to keeping the conversation alive and growing it into a movement. Throughout the year, we will continue to build the conversation with:
Personal testimonies from Sorors and community partners who have faced the realities of suicide and emerged as advocates for mental health.
Faith-based reflections and resources that remind us of God’s presence and healing power in times of despair.
Interactive campaigns encouraging dialogue, inviting our sisters, families, and friends to share resources, spread awareness, and uplift one another.
Why It Matters
At Eta Alpha Pi, we know that suicide prevention is not just about numbers or statistics, it’s about people, lives, and stories. Every conversation we spark, every event we host, every prayer we lift is part of changing the narrative. We want our Sorors, our communities, and everyone connected to us to know: You are seen. You are loved. You are not alone. 💜
As 2025 unfolds, Eta Pis will continue to champion awareness, compassion, and action.
Together, we are rewriting the story of suicide, from one of silence to one of strength, hope, and healing.
