As I sit quietly with the Lord this morning, reflecting on the past ten years of Eta Alpha Pi Sorority, Incorporated®, my heart overflows. Not just with memories or milestones, but with awe. Awe at what God has done through a yielded “yes.”
A decade ago, this was only a whisper in my spirit, a vision birthed in stillness and faith. I had no blueprint. I had no crowd cheering me on. I had a calling, and the conviction that the Kingdom needed more spaces where sisterhood and service could intertwine, where women of all ages could be discipled, sharpened, and ignited for God’s glory.
I remember praying over names. Laboring over principles. Crying in secret when the road got lonely. And I remember the first ones who said yes beside me. Women who caught the vision, stood in the gap, and linked arms when all we had was faith and fire.
From our humble beginnings to now, God has proven Himself faithful. We have served thousands, wept together, built together, prayed without ceasing, and watched miracles unfold in real time. Eta is not just an organization; it is a move of God. And I do not say that lightly.

There have been seasons of pruning. People have come and gone. We have endured betrayal, growing pains, and spiritual warfare that tried to divide what God ordained. But with every shift, the Lord refined us. He protected our mission, healed our hearts, and fortified our foundation.
I have made mistakes. I’ve had to repent. I’ve had to unlearn and relearn. But grace, glorious grace, has met me every single step. If you see strength in me, it's not because I had it on my own. It's because the Holy Spirit carried me. This legacy is not mine. It’s His.
To every woman who has ever worn our letters, served our mission, or been impacted by our work, thank you. You are part of a story still being written. And to those yet to come, I say this: We are not perfect, but we are purposed. We are not large in number, but we are mighty in spirit. And we are committed to becoming all that God has called us to be, for His namesake alone.
As we enter our second decade, I ask the Lord for fresh oil. For greater wisdom. For a double portion of unity, humility, and vision. I ask that He continues His breath on Eta; that we may be a remnant of righteousness, a light in dark places, a sanctuary for the overlooked, and a force for good across the earth.
This next chapter is not about doing more. It's about becoming more, more surrendered, more obedient, more like Christ.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being on this journey with me. I am honored to serve. Humbled to lead. And eternally grateful to witness what only God could do.
With reverence and joy,

Meelah Lowery
