“O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endureth forever.” — Psalm 107:1 (KJV)
As we gather around our tables for Thanksgiving 2025, we enter a sacred moment, one wrapped in the warmth of family, the comfort of familiar traditions, and the undeniable faithfulness of God. Thanksgiving is more than a holiday; it is a posture of the heart. It is the intentional pause we take to remember who God has been to us, how He has carried us, and the many ways His hand has guided our families through another year.
The Gift of Family
Families look different in every season, but each one is a gift from God. Whether your home is filled with laughter, children running around the kitchen, or quiet moments shared between loved ones, family is a reflection of God’s heart toward us. Thanksgiving invites us to connect, forgive, embrace, and cherish one another. In a world of constant noise and endless demands, family reminds us of our roots and our responsibility to pass down faith, love, and wisdom to the next generation.
Remembering God’s Provision
When we look back over 2025, we see God’s provision woven into our stories, doors opened, prayers answered, strength renewed, and grace poured out in moments we needed it most. Gratitude shifts our perspective; it helps us recognize blessings we overlooked and find peace in what we cannot yet see.
A Call to Give Thanks Together
This Thanksgiving, whether your table is large or small, formal or simple, may your heart be full. As you break bread, share stories, and bow your heads to pray, let this be a time of spiritual alignment and familial unity.
Let us thank God for:
The gift of life
The joy and challenge of family
The lessons learned this year
The protection and provision He continuously gives
The hope we carry into the future
